You've been reading my posts about my wonderful city of Westlake Village, CA - and the fabulous Conejo Valley! Want to see it on a Google Map in ALL ITS GLORY??? I've created a Google Map with some of my active and closed listings marked.
This is my very first try at creating a virtual MAP on Google Maps for the Conejo Valley! I isolated some neighborhoods in Westlake Village, but included the entire Conejo Valley so you could get a feel for what my market area is, and how it relates to the southern California terrain AND the San Fernando Valley AND the city of Los Angeles. Zoom out of the map a little and you will see the Conejo Valley is over the Santa Monica mountain range from Malibu and Santa Monica by just 10 - 15 miles. We are west of the San Fernando Valley cities, and when you zoom out even more you will see our proximity to the greater Los Angeles metro area. We are truly a unique area - not too far but not too close - to the city! AND we are just less than an hour from famous Santa Barbara, CA, home of the oldest mission in southern California and sister-city to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. How's this for a cool visual??
If you would like to create your own Google Map like this (or better! lol!) go to http://www.blog.househuntnetwork.com/custom-real-estate-listing-map/#.VA4OLRZ_Rcd
and follow Lolly Spindler's step-by-step process. It took me about an hour (I was on a webinar and otherwise pre-occupied, so it should have taken less!). Before you do it, go into the MLS and export your actives, pendings and solds for whatever timeframe you want to an excel spreadsheet. You can upload the spreadsheet all at once, so you don't have to input them individually!
Have Fun!
