Just like the rest of the San Diego Housing Market, Carmel Valley (92130) continues to recover with some mixed news.
The number of closed sales declined drastically for detached homes (-30.9%) and a little less drastically for townhomes and condos (-13.8%) compared to this same time last year.
There are also fewer single family homes on the market as both pending sales & new listings also declined in August as compared to August 2013
The good news is that home prices in Carmel Valley (San Diego 92130) continue to improve with the exception of a small hiccup in prices for Condos as compared to July 2014

Median prices for both single family homes and condos/townhomes increased in San Diego County for August 2014 as compared to last month and the same time last year.
The average days between a property listing until an offer was accepted held steady at 44 days.
Inventory continues to decrease, making it still, a seller's market.
