I moved to Kirkwood when I was 11 years old, attending Greentree has been a tradition ever year since then- my daughter has been going since she was born. It is a great weekend to meet up with old friends and hang out in the wine/beer garden, try food from the many booths, explore in the "town" set up to replicate the community back when it was founded, buy books a the book fair sponsored by Kirkwood High School Band Boosters. Etc...
I will be working in the Fried Snickers, Oreos, Twix and many other candies booth on Friday and Sunday. Stop by- we are raising money for KAPS (Kirkwood Area Perpetual Scholarships.)
Here is the blurb from the email blast;
Whether it is learning about the District's 150th anniversary celebration, ordering the world-famous Nipher Middle School French Fries, or checking out opportunities to support The Legacy Fund for The Walker Natatorium, this is a fun, community event you do not want to miss.
