Cripple Creek Colorado is a quaint mountain town tucked up in the high country about an hour West of Colorado Springs.  With the history and character of the town itself, the gold mine right outside of town, casinos for food and fun, and natural beauty in every direction it is a great place for your mountain home or mountain getaway.  Real estate in the Cripple Creek area can vary widely in terms of style of house, location (ie year-round access or tucked away), square footage, acreage, age and amenities in the area.

In August 2014, there were 82 total single family homes on the market.  Of those:

  • 69 are active listings
  • 1 is under contract short sales
  • 4 are under contract
  • 2 are pending
  • 6 are sold

Active listings range from $60,000 to $1,195,000 with an average listing price of $237,994.  Sold properties ranged from $115,000 to $299,000 with an average sold price of $173,500 for the month of August 2014. 

 

There is a wonderful Colorado mountain cabin for sale in the National Forest with a fishing stream right out the door and millions of acres of land around you.
