Fishhawk Lake-Tuesday Travelogue September 16th
Welcome to the ongoing weekly series called Tuesday Travelogue. We are in our twelfth week! Each week, some ActiveRain bloggers are spotlighted to take us somewhere we may not have been on some kind of virtual travel (and it doesn't cost a dime!). Here is the purpose:
" to enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!
Janell Kittleson is somewhat new to me in ActiveRain and she is a fellow Oregonian who, like me, loves trees. This is a terrific tribute to some California Giants! Love the title, too, Janell "A Tall Order to Fill". Excellent!
In the latest of Joanna Cohlan's travels, we are staying in the states. This time it's a sojourn to Arkansas...not to be missed.
If it's April (or September!), it must be Paris! I'm amazed at how many ActiveRain friends of mine have put Paris on their travel itinerary. Must be nice (who me, jealous??)....here is Sheila Anderson's viewpoint on her trip in the spring.
Okay, this last one is a "doo-parture" from my regular travel type of feature, but I gotta tell ya, this post was SO darling and made me laugh so much that I just had to doo it! Thank you, Rosalie Evans, for this localism post! (We wish these guys would sell franchises in all of our local areas). Be sure and watch the quick--and hysterical--video! (Mind you, this was from 2012, but it's still a classic--hope they're still in business).
Please be sure and take the time to comment on these blogposts!
I hope that you enjoyed all of these virtual travels. Please feel free to join our group
