What Water Heater?

There are some safety issues that we need to keep in mind when it comes to water heaters. One of those important safety requirements is the free flow of air around the unit. In order to function correctly space needs to be kept open.

While talking about something else in this home, it was mentioned that the water heater still needs a pan under the unit. It can be done easily when the unit is temporarily moved.

I didn't realize it was in the room we were standing in at the time.

Wow, that is a lot of stuff! I battle with the same issue while inspecting. Components I need to see are blocked by "stuff". It can at times be frustrating.

That is a little heater!  I never see earthquake straps here, but it's good they can use that one to hang their empty-can bags.
