Serendipity Sunday – Road Trips
Yesterday, we drove to Watertown Minnesota for an Arts and Crafts Fair we were invited to at the Luce Line Orchards.
It was a beautiful fall day with temps in the low 50s as we drove there. We drove along the Crow River for a good portion of the trip, and marveled at some of the homes along the way. But, the big draw was the river, the trees and the sumac which is starting to turn red.
Now, we thought about how in two to three weeks, how gorgeous the drive would be with the yellows, reds and oranges. But, it was still a very nice drive with the green leaves still on the trees.
It will be changing soon enough, and we can wait.
Thank goodness, the snow that was predicted for late last week never came to fruition. And, even the frost warnings that meant we had to cover the tomatoes and move other tender plants into the garage never came either.
To everything its season, so we know it is coming….. We can wait…..
Hope you all have a great productive week!
Best, Ron
