Which Direction?

This morning I posted to my blog looking for feedback about real estate directional signs. I can't stand them and think their usefulness is minute. Part of my distaste for them is that I think they are eyesores to the real estate we are marketing and city workers and/or kids love to remove them.

Any thoughts from the Realtors here at activerain?

In Greenville you are not suppost to use directal signs unless it is a open house.  To many of them start to look bad I think. Kathy

I agree Kathy. Some cities have ordinances against anything that isn't temporary and I wish mine would consider it.

Craig--I don't use them! Good directions in the MLS and on my website gets the people who want to see the house to the home! The rest are just thrown away or stolen for garage sales.

Seems like some get "borrowed" for garage sales too. And, then, I know some agents that put signs that lead to nowhere just for hte advertising.
