Wi-Fi Spots Added in San Diego
San Diego residents will have even more access to Wi-Fi via hot spots being added to areas throughout San Diego by Time Warner Cable. San Diego already has around 300 hot spots, but by the year's end it should have several hundreds more. People who subscribe to Cox Communication services will be able to use these hot spots due to a cooperative effort on the part of both companies within the Cable Wi-Fi program. These hot spots will be available to internet subscribers with no additional charges. Those who are not subscribers have an opportunity to use the hot spots with a pay-as-you-go system.
The Rabbit Hole Opens in Normal Heights
Mark Huber, David Schiffman and Brendan Huffman are coming together to open a new restaurant called The Rabbit Hole in the Normal Heights community of San Diego. The restaurant will serve comfort foods like macaroni & cheese and sloppy joes. They will support the local craft beer industry by selling those, as well. The restaurant will be decorated with beautiful murals and historic photographs. The owners appreciate the atmosphere of Normal Heights, with it's cultural diversity and relaxed, small-town feel. The restaurant hopes to have around 45 employees and plans to be open in time for the Adams Street Fair.
