High velocity real estate keeps sellers happy

It doesn't always happen this way of course.  Part of it is pricing well, part of it is a favorable market, part of it is luck.  However, I was able to bring good news to a couple who planned to sell their house and retire further south, away from our Michigan winters.  It was 5355 123rd Av, Fennville -- frequent readers of my blog will remember it http://activerain.com/blogsview/4453435/5355-123rd-ave--fennville--mi--49408---it-s-got-everything .  Motivated sellers?  Well, these people were going to leave everything in the home because the home they were buying already had everything.

It went on the market on August 18.  We closed on September 18.  Listing price was $139,000.  Selling price was $130,000.  My sellers were pleased.  The buyers' agent tells me, after closing, her clients went to one room, sat there for awhile, then went on to another room, sat there for awhile.  A whole house full of stuff.  Lots of discoveries to come!  I love this job.

Nice when a deal works out and everyone walks away happy from the transaction.
