What a great tip!!!  I am on Verizon and you do have to keep track of how much data you use or you get charged extra for the overage.  Maybe one day they will go to unlimited use of data like so many of their competitors.  Seems like they have better reception in our area than some of the other carriers and that is one of the reasons I stay with them.  Hope you have a happy weekend and thanks again for the information.

Oh yes, I remember you telling us this another time.  this is yet another reason I don't use FB on my cell phone.  (I don't use it much on laptop either, so it's not a big sacrifice.  If I ever change, I will need to change that setting.

This is something that many of us learned out of necessity because of our children Craig. Great tip as always!

Thank you for the tip Craig I went over the data limit for the first time last month and wasn't happy about it. I will make that change and hopefully will save some precious data bytes.

Craig,  Very good advice.  I have unlimited data due to some grandfathering with AT & T but my daughter Erin is always running over on her plan.  I will share this one with her for sure.

Hi Craig - Good tip. Fortunately we have an unlimited data plan we have held onto from years ago, and it saves us a bundle.

That explains a lot.  I have a family plan.  So I am going to see to it that is done.

There is a lot out there sucking on the data feed straw, and we don't think about it.

Then ... there's the bill.

Great tip & I don't have the app on my phone. There are many of these 'data-suckers' on our phones now which we rarely know about.
