If you can smell it, you can’t sell it. We’ve all heard this term time and time again. But, clean doesn’t smell!
While I appreciate many sellers honesty believe the scents such as sprays, candles, gels, plug-ins are pleasing to potential buyers, very often people are offended by these forms of indoor pollution.
Often sellers will place one chemical on top of another in an attempt to achieve a clean smell. Anything scented equals toxic synthetically produced chemicals. The scents are designed to mask the chemicals in the product.

If people only knew how toxic these scents are, they would stop using them immediately. For instance, one of the most popular air fresheners on the market has over 87 toxic chemicals in it, and can, and has, caused severe allergic reactions in individuals. Plug-ins contain formaldehyde, and other chemicals, plus, they are a fire hazard. Open the windows and ditch the toxic chemicals, candles, and scented sprays.
Clean doesn't smell. When will we get this? Use lemon and vinegar to clean with baking soda. This is all you need. No chemical products needed. They are not safe and are harmful to the environment and to human health.
