DNR Youth ATV Safety Education Class in Buffalo on October 4th

 

This year, the Wright County Sheriff’s office will be offering a youth safety ATV course approved by eh Minnesota DNR again on October 4th.

 

These classes are invaluable for new young drivers of these machines.  They can be tricky if you don’t know how to use them.  Make sure your young drivers are safe behind the wheel.  

 

Registration must be done in person at the Sherriff’s Office prior to the training.  Phone registrations will not be accepted!..There is a registration fee of $10 at the time of registration.

We have a Razr, and the boy wanted to drive it.  I noticed that he wasn't listening to me.  I enrolled him in an ATV Safety training.  It works!

Hi Ron - That's a great program for kids - and maybe some adults too. Those things can be very dangerous when they're not driven right, and that class will help keep those kids safe.

After watching the kids on the trails on our land up north, I know the reason for these safety classes.  Two of them almost didn't make it to the next birthday!

I think these classes are very worthwhile. I was seriously hurt on an ATV when I was a teenager. It was just a case of a bunch of stupid teens screwing around. Great localism post, Ron.

Hi Ron -- excellent advice for parents of young and not-so-young kids --- as your comments show there is definitely a need for this type of training.  Very reasonable cost too makes it especially worthwhile.
