What are the funny and uncanny pranks your family plays on each other on April Fools Day?
Here are a couple for the memory books courtesy of my extended family...
Prank #1: Mommy is in labor...
She was hoping to start a commotion, but it didnt quite go that way. This one was performed by my sister with her 7 year old son as an accomplice. She was 8 1/2 months pregnant, and waddled into the kitchen before everyone left for the day with a water balloon under her robe and between her thighs... somehow she got it to spill on the ground to simulate her "water breaking"... Jokes on her, as her husband just looked at her puzzled and said "What does that mean?" (I think he thought she peed on the floor or something)
Prank #2: Control Your appetite...
We still laugh at this one... I have another sister who has had -- and maintained weightloss with Weight Watchers... well WW has these infamous "sliders" where there are two pieces of cardboard that you match up calories fat grams etc to get "points" for the food you eat... and you are allowed a certain number of points each day.
This prank was by my brother-in-law, and my other sister, he actually scanned the inside sliding portion into the computer and remade the inside part so that everything was a few points higher than normal... my poor sister was starving at the end of the day and couldn't figure out why she was more hungry than usual!
Bonus: When she got over being mad about the joke she had a treat that day.
My brother in law still has way to much fun with his scanner, and is also known for manipulating the spice labels in the pantry... Dill Weed became simply Weed. (just shake your head with me)
