Wordless Wednesday Fall

Yolanda, yes I would think you would welcome some cooler weather after some of the heat you have had in the previous summers!

After a frantic pace during this trip (7 hotels in 9 days), I'm anxious to return home tomorrow, and bloom where I'm planted this autumn.

Here in Jacksonville BEach, it ws a farily chilly 64 degreeds this morning - LOVED IT!

Fall is my favorite season too.  I just love it as the days draw down sooner.

Although the weather is still warm here, the changes in the foliage has begun Yolinda.

Can't really tell that it's fall here yet, Yolanda.  Typically we'll go from the high 80's and 90's to the low 80's.

The word autumn comes from the ancient Etruscan root autu- and has within it connotations of the passing of the year.^[9] It was borrowed by the neighbouring Romans, and became theLatin word autumnus.^[10] After the Roman era the word continued to be used as the Old French word autompne (automne in modern French), and was later normalised to the original Latin. In the Medieval period there are rare examples of its use as early as the 12th century, but by the 16th century it was in common use.

Before the 16th century, harvest was the term usually used to refer to the season, as it is common in other West Germanic languages to this day (cf. Dutch herfst, German Herbst and Scots hairst). Good pictures and it was absolutely great weather yesterday. Not as nice today but certainly cooler than before. I hope they fix your computer! 

I'm really into Fall this year for some reason.  It has been a  super hot summer and we will not be over it for a few more weeks.
