On the advice of my friend and real estate SEO genius, Michael George, I joined ActiveRain today and became a RainMaker! I'm very excited about becoming a member of the community and, even though I'm not heavily involved in Real Estate, I think I have something that I can share with the community. I'm very similar to an RE agent or broker, because:
1. I'm self-employed and need to find my own clients. That means I have to hustle my butt off, just like a successful Realtor should.
2. I like to blog!
3. Like many of you on ActiveRain, I am interested in search engine optimization and making my site rank as highly as possible.
So What Do I Have for You?!?
My website is brand new. I did most of the design myself. However, when it comes to SEO, I kept an endless string of emails going to Michael George. Thankfully, he is a close friend, because I don't think I could afford him otherwise! :-)
Michael consulted with me on everything from my business name (Affordable Arizona Divorce), to my hosting, to my keywords and everything in-between.
He said as long as I don't link to him, I can share everything. You can find him on ActiveRain though; I think he's the only Michael George.
My Second Post
So... I already screwed up and I accidentally published this before I was done. In my next post, I am going to write about some good WP SEO tips. I also have a lot of WordPress plugins that are really useful, and I'm going to blog about that as well.
