Surprised to see this today in Chester County!

Chester County Peacock

I was showing a rental listing I have today when the children of the potential tenant asked what that bird was outside. I have never seen a wild peacock just wandering around like this, but you never know what will turn up in Chester County.

When I was well out in the county before I came across these handsome gentlemen:-

Chester County wild turkeys

It is one of the great things about living here, we have an abundance of wildlife, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy it. If you are interested in finding a Chester County home give us a call, we will be happy to help you find just the right one, iwth wild neighbors or not...

What a cool sighting.  Outside of the Philly Zoo I've never seen a peacock walking around.  Careful with those turkeys, I hear they can be mean!

John Meussner I was very surprised to see the peacock and took the photo of the turkeys from my car, they were already rustling their tail feathers and strutting.

I saw a wild turkey on Amelia Island one night about 17 years ago, I was so surprised.

Those guys better get ready to make themselves scarce come Thanksgiving or they'll find themselves on the serving tray.
