It is a day full of entertainment, food, demonstrations and the always popular Souper Bowl. The weather is starting to cool, leaves are beginning to turn colors, football teams are back on the gridiron - it must be fall in Needham. Celebrate the change of the seasons at the annual Needham Business Association (NBA) Harvest Fair this weekend.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 27 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on the Town Common and features entertainment for the whole family, food vendors, business and non-profit organizations, and the annual Souper Bowl under the tent on Chapel St.
Among the entertainers to perform at this yearï¿½s event are Ed ï¿½The Music Manï¿½ morgan, dancers from Pauletteï¿½s Ballet Studio, a zumba demonstration from the Charles River YMCA, Needham High musicians and more.
This year, there will be seven contestants in the Souper Bowl, which runs from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. including Stacy's Juicebar, Avery Crossings, Briarwood Rehab, Not Your Average Joes, Bertuccis, Avita of Needham, The Sheraton and Beth Israel Deaconess-Needham. Come taste what these vendors have to offer and determine the best soup in town.
There will also be a Food Court that includes other vendors such as 3 Squares Restaurant, Bertuccis, Gari Japanese Fusion Bistro, Orange Leaf, Pushcarts Unlimited, and Sam's Hot Dog Cart.
If that was not enough, there will also be childrenï¿½s activities run by The Needham Childrenï¿½s Center and The Charles River YMCA.
