Meet Your Local Heroes of the St. Michael Fire Department at the Open House on October 5

Our local fire departments never get the recognition they deserve for keeping us all safe, Ron.   Good job with getting the word out about the open house!

I can't believe that I've missed three of your posts. I went back and commented on the ones I've missed over the last few days. I know you can make your goal. I'll be watching and cheering for you. 

Hi Ron - Nice post. Having served on a volunteer ambulance (as a driver), I know those firemen will really appreciate people coming by to meet them and say thanks.

Oh, the Rib event was great....I didn't have to cook that night!  And, I am looking forward to see the kids and adults ooooh and aaaah over the trucks, Ron!

Our local fire company marches in the parades. No other recognition that I know of. 

You know that emergency responders pull at my heart strings.  I'd be there for sure.

I bet the food will be good and this is an excellent opportunity for a little local networking.

Ron, That would be exciting to see the station expecially for the little ones. I wonder if they still have fire poles.

Hi Ron, Our fire departments are all volunteer too. An Open House will be a  great event for families and kids, they love firemen and trucks!

Ron, All these fire fighters are in my opinion local heroes as they put thier lives on the line for the rest of us. These open houeses are a great time to learn about home fire safety. I lived when growing up thru a fire in the apartment I lived in with my Mom and Dad and it was no fun! 

I homeschooled my son and some of our best days were when our co-op visited the fire department!   Always a good opportunity to meet great people!  Thanks Ron!
