Day 29 - Sponsor a "Go Green" Event

Everyone is going green...or trying to go green! It's all the new rage. Many people want to go green but don't know where to start. How can you help?

Sponsor a "Go Green" event where the people in your farm area get to learn hands-on how to go green, what going green really means, and about green products they can use. The event should focus on the simplest ways to move your household into going green. Keep in mind that most people these days are super busy and want to add the least amount of extra effort possible into their lives. So be sure to include simple methods to go green.

In an effort to keep the community engaged in your "Go Green" event, perhaps you can make it into a contest. Check out the Go Green Foundation's Go Green Challenge. You can easily create something for the entire community. And don't forget to include tips and encouragement in your newsletter!
