Since I haven't been posting much lately, I thought I would make myself write at least one post a week.
So I decided to start a series of ideas that I find when I am browsing the net. Here are the first five that I liked.....hope you do, too.
Better to give one penny a day for a hundred days than to give a dollar once in a hundred days. Why? Because every time your hand does an action of giving, it becomes more and more a giving hand.
If you pay cash for your groceries, you will spend less. And, that, my friend is a very simple way to make life worthy of living your way. Also, never spend more in a day than your budget allows….say it’s $10.00. Do you spend that on a latte and a bagel? If you do, you are wasting money…..those things only last a few minutes’ worth of pleasure. That $10.00 can go toward a credit card debt so you can buy a house, or a vacation or a car. Think about what $10 a day can buy in real terms, not a coffee and a treat!
Happier people tend to have salmon two servings per week or fish oil with DHA of at least 100 mg per day.
Only watch television as a reward,. People who watch a lot tend to feel inadequate because of all the commercials for thing you don’t have, but the advertisers make you want.
Heading out to the soup kitchen or volunteering at a local school does more than benefit others. Volunteer work actually increases happiness more than paid employment.
