One of the nicer aspects of working on this platform is the frequent exposure we have to establishing new habits. It’s a refreshing change to launch a new task every day, and I’ve recently started a “new habit.” Yes, it’s a habit, and it’s one that was introduced to me by Roy Kelley .
Whenever Roy makes a comment on a blog post, he adds a line that states “I 'liked' the comments on this blog to add a little support for the members who are supporting you.” Just think about that statement for a moment.
Roy not only leaves a comment, but he spreads the love with points for everyone. He not only adds to the quality of your post by commenting, but he rewards everyone who has supported your blog post by “liking” their comments.
It’s another way to encourage commenting by all members. Imagine how powerful every post would be with more comments. The “like” button is an easy point collection; it’s acknowledgement that your comment is being read and approved of by those who read it; it’s an easy 2 pointer; and it makes the commenter feel appreciated.
Roy Kelley, your actions are worth following, and I’m sure all bloggers welcome you. You add a nice touch to everyone’s post. I certainly appreciate your actions, and I’ve now picked up your habit!! Thanks so much, Roy Kelley.
