Watching the Transformation of the Colors of Fall

Waiting for Mother Nature to Paint her Canvas

We are into the fall season and the weather has been an extension of the summer with very little moisture and moderate temperatures.  The hills around our golf course are thick with hardwood trees and the colors are typically very bright reds and oranges. There has been little change as yet and as I was on the course early morning this week, I took a photo showing the trees for their current color.

Watching the Transformation of the Colors of Fall

If the opportunity presents itself, I will take the same shot over the next few weeks to show the change of colors at their best.

Ed, I love the change in Mother Natures Painting of your photo even if it's a small splash of color. Here in Texas our leaves don't change until mid November.

Ed, watching the transformation of the colors in Fall is a worthwhile experience. It teaches us about time and preparation for change. I'll be watching to see what happens in CT. This scene will be interesting to watch over the next few weeks. I'll be back to be inspired by the colors of Autumn.

Ed I am going to be doing my second blog in my Fall series of the Progression of Fall Colors.  I took the second picture today and there is already a difference in the colors.  As I travel several trees have already completely turned color, and I don't remember any of them completely turning so early last year.
