Book Recommendation: Sentinels of Fire by P.T. Deutermann
I just finished reading the most recent of the 17 excellent novels by author P.T. Deutermann. Sentinels of Fire (2014) is a navy World War II thriller that tells the story of a lone destroyer, the USS Malloy, defending itself against constant kamikaze attacks during the battle for Okinawa.

Yes, Joan, most of the books we read come from the Montgomery County Public Library which allows use to put our name on the lists to reserve books. This was a brand new book.
