In one more day, the SCRATCH THE ITCH WITH RICH will come to a close. Use this reminder to get in your catchy slogan, tag-line, one-liner and memorable phrase that introduces you into the the marketing world. It is your ticket to brand and some nice history accompanies that slogan as we are learning from the entries
IS THIS NECESSARY
You are a professional and you have a desire and a business model and you want to crank it up and run it at optimum. Having a slogan is like having a door mat with a welcome message on it. Right before someone is going to enter into your world or cross your threshold.... they are greeted. They are welcomed
A slogan turns the head. Makes things fun. Helps the memory and from what we have seen of over the decades is that they, the slogans are here to stay.
HUMANS USE BRANDING TO LEARN BY
When I was a kid, I thought the greatest song in the world was old MacDonald had a farm especially the E I E I OH part. Just having a farm was fascinating but what made it memorable was the E I E I OH...yes made it more exciting and made it more than it was.
WHO DOESN'T LIKE THIS?
The song is lively, fun, interesting, has animals and it is easy to sing. You can mouth the tune until you get to the parts that you do know and usually what kids do is belt out the words they understand and mumble the ones they don't...remember? It is a cleverly disguised learning tool..a boost to learning
ANOTHER FAVORITE THAT IS CATCHY
However, I really got a kick out of learning the A B C's song. Not only does it flow and sing well, but in the end, after you have said it, is this part which many kids sang with confidence and expectations. "NOW I SAID MY A B C's...tell me what you think of me"...and of course yays and smiles or hugs and clapping took place...It captured singer and listener...It still does too..That little zing & sing works!
CONSIDER THIS...
That is what a good tag-line will do for a person who is trying to brand or capture an attention or make a point. Everyone touts being the best in the west and the feast of the east. So what makes you stand out? A little extra punctuation is what it may come down to...
