Support for Missing Real Estate Agent

By
Real Estate Agent with Aspen Lane Real Estate

I just saw the new report on the Missing Real Estate Agent that went missing while showing a home in Arkansas. I hope she is safe and returns home to her family.

This just reminds all of us to be careful and safe as we go out to work. Especially our fellow Female Agents!

If at all possible please call and have a fellow friend join you on these showings/meetings with clients you haven't met before or your gut just says "something is off"

Please Be Safe Out There my Friends and Please Trust Your Gut!

Fred Griffin - I hope they are able to get the information needed to find her safe! But thing like this should make all of us stop to review our safety proecdures in Meeting New Clients, Open Houses and Showing Homes!

Hi again, Dan.  We also hope and pray that this lady will turn up healthy and alive.

As to the point of your blog... definitely, be safe!    Don't show houses alone.  The only exception IMHO is if you are physically large and strong, and carry a weapon.

This is alarming. We should always think of our safety first before anything else.

There may be times and situations where risking your life is called for, but selling a house should not be one of them.

Susan Haughton - You are Absolutely Right!

Jon Kolsky - Correct we can never be too cautious? I couldn't imagine being a female walking into a howing with someone I just spoke with on the phone. I do this and just did this this morning, but this makes one think of the possible dangers!

Cy - Safety should be #1
