Blogging Beverage: Brawler by Yards Brewing Company
If you have followed my blogs on blogging beverages, you already know that Dolores and I like to sample beer and wine as we search for new favorites. This series, by the way, has no commercial purpose. This is just an excuse to have a good time when we are out and about.
We were having lunch at Longwood Gardens which happens to be near Philadelphia and Dolores selected the beer to go with our mushroom soup. Brawler, by Yards Brewing Company in Philadelphia is a Pugilist Style Ale and it is easy to recommend.
This is the description from the website:
The most approachable of our ales, Brawler is malt forward and delicately hopped for a knockout flavor. Its smooth character, hints of caramel and toast, and remarkable drinkability define this ruby colored brew as a true session ale. Perfect when you want to go more than a few rounds.
