Celebrate Earth Day

Real Estate Agent with Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty

Earth Day 2008 falls on Tuesday, April 22: It's a special day to learn about our planet and how to take care of it! Commemorating this annual celebration with eCards to your clients.  Senator Gaylord Nelson organized the first Earth Day in 1970 to raise national awareness of environmental problems. Close to 40 years later, April 22 is now a worldwide day of activities to improve the environment and remind individuals to do their part in protecting the earth. Remind your clients and friends about this special day by sending them an ecologically safe eCard.

Celebrating Earth Day In Schools

Earth Day affords science teachers with an outstanding opportunity to focus all student's attention on the environment and to stimulate their creativity and imagination, so that they can act persuasively to help solve environmental problems. Our belief is that all schools should make this day a tradition which students and faculty eagerly anticipate. The organization of activities for such an event lends itself to an interdisciplinary approach which allows for school-wide participation in the learning process.

The Celebrate of Earth Day Around The Globe

Earth Day is celebrated annually around the globe. Through the combined efforts of the U.S. government, grassroots organizations, and citizens like you, what started as a day of national environmental recognition has evolved into a world-wide campaign to protect our global environment. Try to learn about the history of Earth Day.

But I have been aware of the day for the last 20 years. Thanks for the reminder.
