Kentlands Fall Field Day and Pie Eating Contest
The Kentlands Fall Field Day is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the Kentlands Clubhouse Lawn. This notice is a call for adult pie eating contestants. If you have the competitive pie eating spirit and want to demonstrate your skills, now is the time to register for the Pie Eating Contest.
This event should be a lot of fun for the whole family. Note that the rain date is Sunday, October 19th.

The fine for a camera catching a driver illegally passing a school bus increased July 1 to $250, with a ticket sent in the mail. No points are associated with a citation issued through this program. Over 500 school buses are not equipped with cameras.
If police see a driver illegally passing a school bus, the officer can pull the driver over and hand over a moving violation that carries a fine of as much as $570 and three points assessed on a driver’s record.
