The news feeds of many of our social media sites were being blown up last night while watching our boys in blue. At one point when our guys were down by 4 many of you threw in your hats, shut off your televisions and went to bed. For those of us who stuck it out and who cheered our guys on until 11:58 pm, we were met with an overwhelming amount of pride seeing the Kansas City Royals clench the win at the very last minute. History in the making. 29 painstaking years we have supported our guys in hopes that we would make the playoffs; that we would for once have a winning season. Now here we are, emotions running high. The Kansas City Royals on the lips of every baseball fan and non-fan across the United States.

This morning I tried to imagine what it would be like to wake up as a KC Royal’s player. The pride I would carry, the joy running through my veins and even the desperate desire to win the upcoming game on Thursday. Then I realized I experienced those feelings every day. Pride, every time I sell one of my client’s homes, the intense joy I feel when I make that connection with a client to sell their house and the extreme desire to make sure that I meet the needs of not only my clients but also my family and team members. Just like our Kansas City Royals, I will not give up, I will continue to work hard and The Harris Group will always be dedicated to you. And like many of you I will be there, glued to the television on Thursday night, cheering on our Boys in Blue!
Go Royals!
