Downtown Lafayette Indiana: The colors are still vibrant for early Fall
Downtown Lafayette, Indiana still has lots of vibrant summer color even though it is officially the Fall season in Tippecanoe County!
Come out and walk the beautiful downtown Lafayette area as there is still plenty of summer color to go with the now turning leaves!
Downtown Lafayette looks very colorful. We haven't had much rains so unfortunately the leaves are turning and then dropping to ground!

Joan, we have had such a wet and cooler summer so it will be interesting to see what our leaves will do. Many of the red maples in the downtown revitalized areas just beautiful as they are a deep crimson RED!

I have those flowers growing inside the brick flower box attached to my brick mailbox. For some reason, they grew to be very tall this year, which I've never seen before. Yours are so beautiful - they look uniform and attractive.

Patricia, the flowers in the Lafayette area are so lush and tropical this summer as we have had a very wet and cool summer. It is the best our perennials have looked in years!

Conrad, we are starting to get a nice mixture as most of the summer annual flowers are still going strong and the red maples are really turning their beautiful deep shades of red.
