Taste and Art Stroll in Del Mar October 5
Annual event held in the heart of the village of Del Mar, it includes a free Art Stroll and Taste of Del Mar, a ticketed restaurant taste of delicious culinary creations (12:00 pm - 3:00 pm). Selections from California wineries & local breweries will be offered. The free Art Stroll will feature juried original artwork by talented, local and regional artists. Annual Ocean Beach Oktoberfest October 10 - 11
The festivities begin on Saturday: the Annual Brat Trot Beach Run fundraiser, traditional Oktoberfest contests, a $10,000 cash prize in the Sausage Toss competition, food and craft vendors and an all-ages stage. www.oceanbeachsandiego.com
2014 Annual Polish Festival San Diego October 10 - 12
This Polish festival will tantalize your taste buds with delicious Polish food such as stuffed cabbage, sausage, or hunter's stew. The beer garden will offer imported Polish beer. Taste of North Park October 11

A two-day juried art show and fundraiser, one of the most prestigious art & wine festivals on the west coast. 10th Annual U.S. Open & Reunion: Water Ski Racing Nationals October 11 - 12
Come out and watch the high speed sport of water skiing. 35th Annual San Diego British Car Day October 12

20th Annual Little Italy Festa October 12
Free event takes place in San Diego's downtown Little Italy business district. The Little Italy Festa is known to be one of the largest single-day Italian American festivals West of the Mississippi. 5th Annual Taste of Coronado October 15

Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show October 17 - 19

Escondido Downtown Street Faire October 19

Annual Dia de los Muertos October 26
All are invited to celebrate in the Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. Celebrations at this historic location include gathering at the cemetery to clean and decorate graves of loved ones. This rendezvous is "history comes to life" as you walk back in time to the 1820-1890’s. Come dressed in costume and experience gun fighting reenactments, mock train robberies, watch blacksmithing demonstrations, and be part of the California gold rush and pan for gold.
