Spooner Wisconsin is a great place to visit anytime of the year and this weekend is an especially great time to stop in.


We will be celebrating the great fall season in the Northwoods with the 2013 Jack O' Lantern Festival with fun for all ages.


There will be endless fun events, contests, and of course great food and beverages, bring the kids or a date and enjoy the day.


While you are in the area, let us at Woodland Management Service know if you would like to learn more about the forestland properties in the area or if you would like to learn more about how to care for your forest land property.





Schedule of Events




9 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Farmers' Market & Craft Fair near Main Tent 



9 a.m. - 12 noon - Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Ins near the Main Tent along Walnut Street - Look for drop-off signs (No pre-registration required).



9 a.m. - 10 a.m.-Scarecrow contest and pumpkin carving contest drop-off presented by the Spooner Memorial Library.  Judging at noon.



9 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Small pumpkin painting & more at Lakeland Family Resource Center! Also a Bake Sale presented by Spooner MOMS Club from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. also at LFRC located at 314 Elm Street, Spooner.



9 a.m.—4 p.m.– Face painting presented by Indianhead Credit Union



10 a.m. - Kids' Pavilion Opens, presented by State Farm Insurance - Tim Reedy Agency, with... Inflatables, Kids Bouncys, food, business booths, Jack O' Lantern Store, game pavilion, bean bag toss, Cash Vault, photo booth, cotton candy machine & more!



10 a.m. - 4 p.m. - $5 wristband gets unlimited "kids rides" on the inflatables.



10 a.m. - Jack O' Lantern Carving Contest pumpkin entry drop off at Main Tent for pre-carved pumpkins (See entry form link above for more information).



10 a.m.– 4 p.m.– kids activities and events held in and around the Main Tent including Cookie Creation Center and Halloween Nail Painting presented by St. Francis de Sales School.



11 a.m.-1 p.m.– Kiddie Tractor Pull



12 p.m. noon (approx.) - Scarecrow contest & Jack O' Lantern Carving Contest winners & prizes announced on the library doors



12 p.m.-4p.m.– Palace Theater FREE kids movies



1-3 p.m. - Pumpkin Roll on Siegner Hill presented by the Spooner Fire District Auxiliary.



2:30-4:30 p.m.—5K Zombie Run Check In & Packet Pick up in the Main Tent.


3p.m.-6p.m– Zombification Station by Hair Envy



5:30 p.m.—5K Zombie Run presented by Spooner Health System.



5 p.m. - 10 p.m. - Bonfires and more presented by Schmitz’s Economart in the Main Tent.



5 p.m. - 10 p.m. - LIVE MUSIC by the Okamotos. No entry fee into Main Tent!




Jack O’ Lantern Festival Sunday Bowling Special at Northwoods Lanes-Buy one game, get one game FREE from 11a.m.-3p.m.
