Now let’s get to the part that you have been waiting for - the pros and cons, the good and the bad, the stuff I love and the stuff I hate.
The Good:
In real estate, location is everything, and the Holladay Gardens Condos are located in one of the best areas of Salt Lake City. They also offer luxurious single-level living, a very secure building, secure parking, heated driveways and walks so they don’t get icy, and, best of all, there is no yardwork.
The floorplans are all very well thought out with no obvious flaws. The community is quiet and still close to shopping, gyms, and entertainment. The grounds are very well maintained and beautifully manicured. It is hard to find much to complain about, which is great, unless you are a natural complainer; then it is really tough finding good material for your rants without driving somewhere.
The Bad:
The HOA fee is a little bit high considering that they don’t offer many amenities, although the amenities they do offer are high quality. Also, there are still a number of vacant units which makes the community feel incomplete. This should be remedied before too long, though.
Who would like the Holladay Gardens Condos?
Anyone looking for luxurious, single level living (and doesn’t have any pets over 20 pounds) is going to really like the Holladay Gardens. These could also make a great second home for a seasonal resident.
