Everything from Everywhere

By
Real Estate Agent with Du Rite Realty, Co.

When you look at the Home source magazine or the  Harmon homes, in every page you turn there is an Agent or a Broker advertising their listings and their services which is fine and nice to go through and  you can get your own ideas and  not really copying theirs, but what really caught my attention was the **#1 agent/Broker** being mentioned  in most of the pages with every company. Most of these people have sort of the same services, see I  am saying "sort of"... so why is every one the #1 ? who has the guts to be #2?

I don't mind being  any number as long as I can be a help to my clients and  work with  wonderful agents so any number to me when there is trust respect and care there will always be business, and this is my service to my clients and all the great agents and Brokers out there.

Sharona you have seen it! You know, I'm not a real estate agent so I qualify for the man on the street and I will say that it is a joke to us. Everyone is number one. Some great bloggers here on AR have blogged this exact subject in past times. You aren't old enough to remember but this reminds me of Crazy Eddy's appliance commercials - green leisure suite, Brylcreamed hair, patten leather clog healed shoes and all. Something I also find very unique - I am friends with a small handful of brokers who are definitely number one in their marketplace but I've only ever seen one of them advertise the fact in a Harmon book. Having 8 pages of listings instead of one generally tells a better story to the "man on the street".

Welcome to Active Rain.

All of us say we are #1. All of us give the best service. All of us... well you get the idea.

The top broker in my town never has more than 2 or 3 listings. He does not advertise in any book that I've ever seen. I have never seen an ad for his business anywhere. He is always tops in our area. I don't know his secret, but it seems to work really well.
