Maine REALTORS State Convention & Real Estate Trade Show Happening.

The gathering of state REALTORS from Maine, to learn much during continuing education credit classes.

But the sweet spot of being a better REALTOR, local real estate professional is the real target. Happens in the hallways, cozy corners talking between classes or during breaks. Slurping coffee, listening, sharing the good stuff. What is working and why or not in the local real estate trenches.

The sessions in a hospitality suites after a long day of meetings, the lunch chit chat establishing the real estate networking connection.

So referrals on this property listing or when a buyer needs to leave one Maine real estate market and head to another. Who you gonna pass that prospect or potential Maine real estate listing too is decided during these conventions.maine photo collection image

Learning in real estate means finding new ways to do the listing, marketing, selling (repeat) better.

More efficiently and with a robust, full flavor your real estate buyer will get from you. Or some other little red hen in the local real estate market place.

Have you had your state REALTORS's convention yet?

The one in Maine this year is October 7-9 is at the Samoset in Rockland Maine.

One beautiful setting for early morning walks along the coast. Around the beauitfully kept grounds and surrounded by ocean views, sea air and one special facet of the jewel called Maine.

Have had many Maine REALTOR state real estate convention and trade shows in Rockland. Have blogged about them in the past from this venue but also Sugarloaf, in Portland, Sunday River. And even in Bar Harbor a classic setting.

Hoping, fingers crossed Bangor Maine with the new Cross Center gets the selection for future state of Maine REALTOR conventions.

Because coming down from Aroostook County, the 3 hours and fifteen minute ride listening to XM tunes would be sorter. Lucky to live in the crown of Maine where all the space is, the low property listing prices for real estate in Vacationland.

CA ... Very educational and part of the keeping up, going beyond these real estate conventions are says Yoda.  Blogging on the road is fun.

Andrea ... Thanks for stopping in. Fall foliage in Maine is pretty special right now... the explosion of Jack Frost's handiwork is at the peak for sure.

BT ... Yesterday two long sessions on being the designated broker and tightening up the liability. The second one on credit reporting and how to keep the FICA score high, what to do and not do as the consumer to repair credit. Lots of good fodder for future blog posts.

Networking can be as or more valuable than taking the courses required for CE as you note.
