Pumpkin Patch Fun at Wilson's Orchard in Iowa City

Halloween is just around the corner and they certainly know how to rise to the occasion at Wilson's Orchard!  All through October the focus is on family fun at this part nature park, part orchard right here in Iowa City. The highlights of the month are the Pumpkin Festival and Trick-Or-Treat Weekend as we head towards the spookiest night of the year.

Pumpkin Festival at Wilson's Orchard

Saturday October 18: - 10.00 am - 6.00 pm

Sunday October 19 - 10.00 am - 6.00 pm

Hunt for the biggest pumpkin or  guess the weight of pumpkins for a chance to win prizes. Find a nice big pumpkin for the kids and have them carve it right there at the carving station and let someone else clean up the mess!  Activities from 12.00 - 4.00 pm.

Trick or Treat Weekend Wilson's Orchard

Saturday October 25 -  10.00 am - 6.00 pm

Sunday October 26 - 10.00 am - 6.00 pm

The kids will love the idea of wearing their costume before Halloween and they'll get a prize for doing it this weekend at Wilson's Orchard. A great opportunity to pick apples and pumpkins before Halloween. Take a trailer ride out or enjoy the fall air with a nice long walk. And when you need fortification there will be lots of bakery treats to choose from and hot mulled cider!
