Delray Beach Green Market has become a regular on many folks' list in season. With over 65 vendors offering everything from organic pet treats, home-made baked goods, home-grown produce, incredible breads and pastries, seafood, tea and the list goes on.
I think Tweedle's Pet Products are the best. I can't speak for any of the other vendors, but I know Dr. Nelson and Tweedle and they get my vote. You can also follow Tweedle and Dr. Nelson on Facebook. When you're walking around, check out the other vendors. I'll bet they're pretty terrific too. If you are looking for fresh food and something to do on Saturday mornings, this is the place. You can also follow Delray Beach Green Market on Facebook where they will keep you updated.
Bring your own water! You don't want to end up paying who knows what for a bottle of water.
Bring Cash. Some of the vendors may take cards, but it's usually much faster if you have cash. Some vendors will only take cash so make sure you don't miss out on your favorite delicacy because you don't have cash. Like that fabulous organic Delicata squash I picked up!
Parking. Free parking is available in the Old School Square public parking garage, on the southwest corner of NE 2nd Avenue and NE 1st Street. Trick or Treat at the Market: (October 26, 2013) - Live pumpkin carving demonstrations and trick-or-treating for Halloween fans young and old.
