With the King Fire Almost Under Control, a New Fire Started In Nearby Placer County
Not far from the fire in El Dorado County, a new fire started yesterday. Because of the number of small fires that started along the freeway, arson has come up in conversation.
Several buildings have alreeady been lost, and crews are working to stop the spread of the fire down the American River Canyon. Fighting the fire gets much more difficult down there.
Tom I had thought that particular fire would have been put out by now. And now another one started. like you say probably arson. They need to string him up by his....his.... thumbs. You know what I mean.

I do know what you mean Ted. The first arsonist has been caught and awaiting trial, people are angry.
Liviing in the Colorado high country...I know how you feel. We had one so close that we couldn't leave. If we did we wouldn't be able to get back home. Actually we shoud have left, but we wouldn't. I was going to wait until the last minute. You never know what you are going to do until you are faced with that situation.

This fire just keeps going. The fact that this is probably arson is absolutely sickening.
