I am seeking a Director of a Skilled Nursing Inpatient Facility (or SNiF) in the California Central Coast area. This is a stand alone hospital so there is no big corporation looming over your shoulder. A 60 bed facility On the second floor of a hospital that received a 5 star rating last year! The hospital and attached SNiF are both in immaculate condition because pride is of the up most importance. A solid tenured staff so the right Director can step in and hit the ground running and know, that their leadership will be welcomed and appreciated.
What about the area? An hour to the ocean, an hour to wine country, a couple hours to Oakland (Raiders game? A's game anyone?) and just a bit more to spend the weekend in San Francisco. Don't get me started on the 49ers!
The average house in the area runs in the low 200's and with the SNiF salary at this facility starting at 105k! That's the base starting wage! You can afford one heck of a nice house....and finding a Real Estate agent on ActiveRain for any area is a breeze. I encourage anyone thinking about relocating to utilize the full potential of ActiveRain and all (they) have to offer.
And now, a little more about the SNiF position:
Maintain full compliance with Title 22, CMS, OSHA and Life Safety Code Standards. (Pretty standard stuff right there)
Schedule monthly departmental meetings to strengthen communication and a TEAM environment (I mean, who wouldn't?)
Monitor that all staff members demonstrate a concern for personal (really?) and work area cleanliness. ( Let's maintain that immaculate facility I told you about)
Supervise the orientation of new employees as well as ongoing training of all personnel to ensure competency.
A BSN is required and they would really like to see an MSN. (the degree, not the network)
and, a MINIMUM two years management experience preferably in a SNiF capacity.
This is a Director level position and with that comes many other responsibilities. For a full description and any other information regarding Healthcare positions, please feel free to contact me.
