Traffic-Jam-In-Chief Comes In Los Angeles 10/10/2014
I know that Presidents need to travel, and when they do it's a traffic nightmare. I will say, as a Metro Los Angeles resident, I cringe when I hear this....our traffic is bad enough already.
Yesterday President Obama came to Southern California and parts of our city was shut down to accommodate the motorcade. He will be here again today and below are the road closures that you can expect today.
Friday October 10, 2014 Obama Traffic
9-11am: The area around Wilshire Blvd between Veteran Ave and Comstock Ave.
9-11am: Between Ashton Ave and Bellagio Rd around Beverly Glen.
10am-1pm: The area around Sunset Ave between Hilgard and Carolwood Dr.
10am-1pm: Between Bellagio Rd and Pico Blvd around Beverly Glen.
10am-1pm: The area around Pico Bl between Prosser Ave and Century Park East
In addition there are hard closures locations until Friday night at 6pm (10/10/2014) on Hilgard Ave between Le Conte Ave and Weyburn Ave.
Metro Bus Orange Line route 302/2 along Hilgard Ave between Le Conte and Weyburn Ave will be canceled until 4pm on Friday (10/10/2014)
