Laurel Park Civic Association
Did you know that Laurel Park has a Civic Association that has been in place for 55 years? This is a great group of volunteers that are committed to making Laurel Park a great place to live.
The Laurel Park Civic Association sponsors programs, projects and activities that are fueled to enhance the quality of life for all property owners, businesses and renters who live in the 'Town on the Mountain."
Some of the projects the group has been a part of are placing additional historic markers around the community, provided concerts at Jump Off Rock, they sponsored the Christmas/Holiday program and the Easter Egg Hunt at Laurel Green Park, and the provide residents with the bi-annual newsletter and new residents with a welcome packet.
In the coming fiscal year they are looking at improvements to the town parks and adding additional History presentation among other ideas.
