Huge breakfasts of eggs, potatoes, and delightful baked goods.

Meals served family style on huge tables with a gregarious mix of locals, tourists, and miners; all visiting while starting their day in the adventure of Alaska.  talkeetnaEach day at breakfast you can count on meeting interesting people from all over with interesting stories and plans for their day in Alaska.

After breakfast you can relax w a pastry in the lounge while using the free wifi to catch up with business at home, write a blog post, or just send some pics to the family.

 talkeetna

Of all the places in Alaska, this little log cabin that started out as a stopover for mountain climbers was our favorite location that we can’t wait to get back to.

I highly recommend that you spend a morning here.

We absolutely LOVED Talkeetna. Even though it was raining and we didn't get to take our scheduled flight to see Mt. McKinley, it was still a precious town. Next time we will spend a morning there.

Bob - I will certainly keep that in mind when we go to Alaska.  That sounds and looks like a great place to hang out.
