Hello! My name is Billy Brown, and I’m a new executive assistant here at Lair Properties. Cerissa and the team brought me on to provide behind-the-scenes support: overseeing the contract process, generating reports, handling internal and some external communications - as much of the administrative process that I can wrangle from our Realtors so they can better focus on serving our clients.
In some ways, I bet my hiring process matches what prospective clients will experience as they decide to partner with Lair Properties. Where potential customers are nervously wondering if Cerissa and Sally can help them buy or sell a home, I had the interview jitters - will this employer be the right fit for me? Upon meeting them I was struck by their combined passion and positivity, and I walked away from that effortless first encounter having replaced the pre-interview nerves with “I sure hope they hire me!”
Spoiler alert: I did get the job. I’m very excited to grow into this role and leverage my skills on behalf of Lair Properties and its clients, and love the idea that I’ll play a part in someone buying a home. The energy in this office is contagious and they clearly know the real estate industry.
