Summer is done, the kids are back in school, and we are heading into the 4th Quarter of 2014!! I know, where did the year go? Let's dive right into it and look how the Harford County Real Estate market is looking over the first 3 quarters. Overall, the majority of the numbers are up for September. Average sold price for a home in the Harford County Real Estate market came in at $261,567, up 2.74% from the same time last year, and up 12.4% from January of this year. While there are pockets of higher, and lower, average sales price, this number covers the County overall.

252 homes settled in Harford County last month, up 7.23% from the same time last year, up 3.7% from last month!! This is great numbers as we head into what homeowners typically consider the slow season, but don't worry we know different (READ ON). 133 New Contracts were written on Harford County homes last month, the only stat trending down at 13% less than last year. Currently, there are 1,596 active homes for sale in the Harford County Real Estate market. This number has jumped 29.7% from last year, and up 38% from January! Inventory continues to grow balancing our market as an even marketplace for home buyers and sellers. 484 new homes hit the market in September, up 36% from 2013, a huge jump from last year as home sellers are seeing the increased values and putting their homes back on the market. On average it took 92 days for a home to sell in Harford County, up 12.2% from last year as buyers have more of a selection to choose from this year.

Overall, the Harford County Real Estate market continues to stay strong and trend up.
