It could be that I'm a little more worried than most of you about Ebola , Why? Because my daughter is a paramedic. So she is sent to pick up people who call 9-1-1. She typically does not know when until after she has come in contact with a patient what their symtoms fully are People sometimes call for an ambulance not because it's an emergency, but because they have no other way to get to the hospital.
I am not trying to be an alarmist. But I am concerned by things like the 2nd Dallas nurse saying she phoned the CDC and they told her she could fly on Monday and on Monday they knew she was in the hospital being tested and didn't mention it. On Wednesday the head of the CDC said "she shouldn't have been on that flight". Really? Perhaps you should tell your underlings that.
And although that sweet little dempled face of my child was standing in front of the Meansville sign, she's clearly on a path to help others. This time next year I hope to tell you she's been accepted in Medical school somewhere. She's always wanted to help others, even as a child. So I ask you to join me in prayer that this doesn't get worse. And pray for ALL the healthcare workers.
