Today, October 17th, the River Bend Nature Center is having their 10th annual Not-So-Scary Halloween Nature Night from 6-9 p.m. Bring the kids and dress up in your favorite costumes! There will be a costume contest starting at 7:30 tonight There will also be face painting, food, music, pumpkin decorating, a cake walk, crafts, games, a Flashlight Fun Trail through United Children's Garden, AND Wild Birds Rescue "Stevie" The Great Horned Owl will be making a special appearance! The cost is only 5$ per person and 2$ per child!

Saturday, October 18th, Wichita Falls Crime Stoppers is hosting their 2nd annual "Cops and Robbers 5k Pursuit." Located at 1000 5th Street. Admission is $30.00 for children 13 and over, Active Military and Veterans $25.00, Kids 5K or 1M (ages 6-12) $20.00, and kids 6 and under FREE!! Saturday, October 18th, at Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall (Hall B of the MPEC Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall) from 9am-5pm The Ruffles and Rust Expo show, a traveling boutique with a vintage feel will be coming to Wichita Falls with over 80 different vendors. Sunday, October 19th, from 1 pm - 7 pm at Kay Yeager Coliseum will be hosting Disney Junior on Tour Live. Mickey and Minnie will be taking the seats too! Featuring your favorite characters from Disney Junior's hit series, Sofia the First and Jake and the Never Land Pirates. Sofia and her family will prepare for a royal celebration that will help us all learn the true meaning of being a princess! Then, Jake and his friends Izzy and Cubby featuring Peter Pan will be battling Captain Hook. This is one you don't want to miss and will be great for the whole family!
