Friday Fun: Cabo's Baja Grill & Cantina For Lunch!

When you are in the mood for great fish tacos as we were today, the place to go is Cabo's Baja Grill and Cantina in Carpinteria!  The photo above was taken with my iPhone 5 S.

This photo was taken with Ron's new iPhone,  the 6 +.  There is definite difference in quality and clarity in the shot.

Back to Cabo.  Their fish is fresh and perfectly grilled, and they have some wonderful salsas to add that spicy zing.  Our favorite has a nice touch of chipotle added to it.

One of the people I mentioned it too, told me that they make great ginger margaritas!  We did not try them this time, but we will for dinner one evening.

Happy Friday!  Wishing you all a great weekend,

Cheers, Ron & Alexandra

Fish tacos were a discoveryof mine too a few years ago. Now I seek them out. I would love to hear how Ron likes his 6+. I am going to do an upgrade in the next week or two.

In the second photo it looks like you used a wide-angle lens which is great to have! These small quaint shops are pretty special, aren't they!

Good evening Alexandria. Quite the difference in the photos. I am still amazed at the quality of photos the iPhones take.

I Love Mexican food and sea food. What a coincidence, we had a similar meal this evening and then went to a movie, "The Judge" and just got home.  Good fresh Fish tacos cannot be beat Ron & Alexandra.

Nice IPhone camera comparison.

A fun place to be on a Friday evening I imagine.  I do see a slight difference in the photos but not enough for me to get rid of my 5S yet.  I have seen the new one and think it might be too big to be comfortable.

Thanks for the photo comparison - I agree with you, the i6 has more clarity. Fish tacos sound good, and I'm sure a ginger margarita would be quite refreshing.

mmm ginger margaritas!  As for the photos, I don't see much difference but the composition is so much better in the second one that it's hard to compare.  Anyway I don't want to hear about how great the iPhone 6 is -- I'm married to my 5 for at least another year!

Hi Alexandra and Ron -- an information-filled post.  First, a great lunch suggestion in Cabo's Baja Grill and Cantina and then the comparison in the photos between the old/new I-phone(I'm an android user).

The idea of a ginger margarita sounds good.  I've never tried one and certainly not during lunch.  It would certainly be time for an afternoon siesta for sure.
