Gosh, it's that time again! POLO IN ROSE HILL PLANTATION (located on the beautiful Equestrian Side of this lovely plantation and just across from the golf side) is off and running again! Yes, Sunday March 30th was the "kick off" and we were there! We were the guest of Range Rover and they really know how to put on the "dog"...maybe I should say "horse".. ha ha! They had their own tent, served some great chow and drinks, waited on us like "royalty", as we sat comfortably and watched the horses, jumpers, hounds, and then the POLO... it was exciting and Range Rover sponsored one of the teams. Guess I will have to make sure I keep my old Range Rover so I get invited to some more fun outings and just turn into a "social butterfly"...ha ha ha!
If you have never seen a POLO match in person, you need to check one out! The thundering of their hoofs are so exciting... makes you feel like being at a horse race. Another good thing was being able to walk around and see old friends, meet new ones and create great friendships. One of many great things about being in Hilton Head, SC... with so many things to do summer and winter, you owe it to yourself to check us out and plan a visit. LIVING in the HILTON HEAD/BLUFFTON Area ALLOWS YOU 3 MORE MONTHS OF ACTIVE LIFE TIME! Yes, my husband Bubba Moore did the math and since the North area is covered by snow or bad weather 120 more days than us, being HERE in the south allows one to enjoy more sunshine, outings, socializing, and making more friends because you are able to get out more and not be shut in. Remember, "NO SNOW TO SHOVEL" on the beautiful Atlantic East Coast in and around the areas of Hilton Head, Bluffton, and Beaufort SC, where you can enjoy the "active lifestyle of the South".... remember this: ADD LIFE TO YOUR YEARS, NO MATTER WHAT THE AGE!
Check out some of the pictures from the Polo Match on Localism. I will be back writing about the next event Range Rover is having on April 5th, so keep in touch and know ----YOU are always welcome here in this "magical" corner of the world, known as the "Lowcountry" ... Bluffton/Hilton Head Area... Please let me know how I can be of help or just meet a "new friend".... thanks.....Jennie, www.mooreparadise.com
