Vallejo CA Realtor Tim Garton wanted to update Vallejo Residents. The Solano County Health and Social Services, Public Health Division staff and volunteers will conduct door-to-door surveys in Vallejo starting this Friday in an effort to better understand how the August 24 earthquake impacted residents.
Community Assessment for Public Health Emergency Preparedness (CASPER) Volunteers will survey homeowners, selected at random, about their experiences during and after the earthquake. The information collected will be used to help officials assist residents to better prepare for future emergencies.
Staff and volunteers, traveling in teams of two, will provide homeowners with proper County identification credentials before conducting any surveys. A volunteer verification number will be provided to all homeowners should they have questions.
Surveying will take place during the following times:
• Friday, October 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Saturday, October 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Monday, October 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
